Dillon
Is an awesome town in Montana, that we stayed at on our way to Glacier and on our way back.  If it wasn't 5 hours away I would buy a house and spend my summers here.  They have some really Great old houses.  not to mention a few surrounding ghost towns to visit, which we did last year.

Oh yes we happened to be in Dillon for Montana Days which had a Rodeo!
And our favorite RV Park "Southside"  Love this place so friendly and very well kept up!  And with in walking distance of restaurants and stores.

They also have plenty of room to maneuver  big trailers into their spots.

 More Glacier Pictures
I Loved that Erin was "Awesome"  on our Trip usually after a few days she has had enough and wants to go home.

We were only able to go on "Going to the Sun Road" from St Marys (East side of Glacier) to Logans Pass

There were waterfalls almost around every corner.

Logan's Pass was way crowded, and still pretty smokey, so we decided to just do the visitors center.

The Foliage had already started to change color.

 Miss Happy go Lucky......

We came across the Fire Camp....Their Supplies were Endless.

We came across a few Helicopters.....made me wonder why they weren't out dumping water on the fire around Lake McDonald....Hmmmmm!

Was A great Trip despite not being able to see all of the park.  But that gives us an excuse to go back.

Loved Canada

Of course you need to take a trip into Canada when you are in Montana.

We went to British Columbia And to Alberta.

We went up into Cardston which was settled by Mormon Pioneers.

The first Temple built in Canada was in Cardston.

We went to Fernie,  a very Cute town in British Columbia

Some differences in Canada that stuck out to me the most were that Canada's Traffic Lights are sideways.

And instead of saying "Garbage Can"  they say "Litter Barrel" when I saw the sign the first time I thought it was the name of a town.  😆 and that it was just up ahead.

P.S.  Most of their "Litter Barrels" are Bear Proof!

And of Course BEARS!  finally was able to capture a picture even though they are scurrying up the mountain,  it was a Mama and 2 cubs.
