Happy Anniversary

29 Years of Wedded Bliss....Ya right! Well most of it anyway.....

I married a Man who is the most easy person to get along with. I love that he puts up with all my nonsense. I love that he loves me even when I am grouchy. I love that he doesn't roll his eyes too much when I change my mind (which can sometimes be a lot). I love that he loves our children. I love that he so helpful and supportive with Erin (cuz I couldn't do it without him) I love that he is an AWESOME Grandpa. I love that he kisses me every day before he leaves for work and when he gets home. I just plain love this man!

Baptisms

I love Baptisms.

I always have. There is just something about an 8 year olds understanding of the gospel and the ability to choose right from wrong.

I love that I got to watch my baby brother baptize his little girl last Saturday.

One of "Those" days!

You ever had one of those days where you wished you would have just stayed in bed?

That day was today.

We are re-doing the bathroom because the shower has never worked and the tub is not "Erin Friendly" meaning she has a hard time getting in and out.

So when we turned off the main water to the house and turned it back on.....it started to leak. So we called a plumber.

Then Qwest told us our phone lines are not hooked up to the outside. So we called back the electricians.

In the middle of it all the Home teachers showed up and gave a lesson on gratitude.....hmmmmm!

I still think we should have stayed in bed!

But on a cute note: I was talking to Mandy and said "uh oh lets not open that can of worms" and Kai wanted to know if they were Real worms or Pretend worms? I just love kids! Especially Grandkids.

Lights

Whew........We (actually Bruce) with a some help from Kai & Erin got the lights up on the house before we got hit with a HUGE Snow Storm.

Its a good thing we had the "Muscle" (aka ...KaiBear) here to help us.

Kai was so excited to help Grandpa Bruce. There are 2 rules when helping. 1st one is to Listen. 2nd one is to stay right by grandpa. Kai did good with both rules!
I'm so lucky to have a Hubby who will put up lights on the house, and take direction from the ground crew, without too many eye rolls!

Kai loved that he could carry the lights on his back and climb the ladder at the same time.

And we couldn't have done it with out Miss Erins help....she did a great job helping me put the clips on the lights.
The Light Crew did an awesome job....Thanks

Finally

I finally gave in.
Bruce dragged me down to Best Buy. We bought a new computer.
The kids gave me some gift cards for my birthday with specific instructions that they could only be used towards a new computer. It is going to take me awhile to get used to the new computer. But so far I love this new computer!

Yeah...A Snow Day!

It snowed Wednesday. And of course one "Big" boy just had to head outside and play in all that white stuff!

He didn't even mind that the only gloves I could find were Pink.....

He loved it. Especially when he wanted me to open the window so he could throw me a snowball!

And of course you can't play in the snow without making a Snow Angel.

As quickly as it snowed by the end of the day it was all gone. But for awhile one 4 year old had a great "Snow Day"!

Little Miss Cutie Pie!

Allready 7 months old. Kenzie is such a dolly. She is always smiling, and so Happy.

I have noticed that she looks just like her Dad when he was this old. I'm sure little girls don't want to hear that, but she is still a baby so it's OK. (Just don't tell her Mom)

Her little shirt says it all "Fun to be ME!"

Great Weather

Erin has been wanting to go 4-wheeling, for a long time. We had a bunch of things going on this summer, and haven't gone very much.
The weather has been so good latley that we headed out to 5 mile for the afternoon.

We went on some trails that, I wasn't really excited about. If its not flat I'm a coward.

But if Erin can do it. Then surely I can suck it up not be a wuss and do it!

And the scenery was great also. I love taking nature and scenery shots. One day I need to put an album together with all the fun pictures.

Ophir

We went for an autumn (fall colors) ride the other day. And came across the cutest town.

It is tucked inside a canyon that is located on the west side of the oquirrh mountains.

It is an old mining town, but has alot of houses old and new, alot of the cabins or houses had mining cars in front of their houses some with flowers in them. They also had an outdoor museum you could go through, but the funniest thing was....

This sign which is posted through out the town.......to funny! Sounds like my kind of town. Next time we are going to head to Mercur. I wonder if they have a quite sign too.

Erin & MAT

A quick update on Erin and school (Murray Adult Transition).
She is doing AWESOME! So far she has really enjoyed going and interacting with other students at SLCC. She has also been doing some of the activities on Friday. I have worried a little because they have cut staffing, instead of 5 support staff they are down to 3, and they still have the same amount of students. But she enjoys going, and thats what matters most.

A Train Ride

We have been telling Kai all summer that we wanted to take him on a train ride. So we finally made good on our promise. And headed up to Heber.

Kai found the seat he wanted. He looked so cute ....oops "handsome" in his Engineers Cap.

He had a lot of questions. When we got to Vivian Park, they asked if Kai wanted to come up and see the Engine and talk to the Conductor.

Erin had alot of Fun too. She loves Trains.

When we asked Kai what was his favorite part was, he said " When G-pa said "Elk" and it was really a brown cow" and "when the river crossed over to the other side of the tracks."

I was hoping to see the train robbers but unfortunately they didn't appear, it must be just a summer thing. Maybe next year Kenzie can come along too.

Tree climbing

We have a tree on the side of the house that is just right for 3 1/2 year old "big" boys to climb.
He needs a boost up to get started. He loves to get up in the tree and pretend he is in the woods, even though there is only one tree.

He is even climbing the tree (in this picture anyway) barefoot. I just love that he is so adventerous, and has a great imagination, and is so full of energy.
