Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas.

There were two small children who couldn't wait for Santa.

We headed over to Grandpa Lynn's to wish him a Merry Christmas.

And give him some presents.

"J" and Miss "E" are ready to open presents.

Grandpa Bruce got what he wanted.

Mr "K" loved everything he got.

And Miss "K" stole everyones candy.

Miss "E" finally got her own computer. One that is a lot faster.

Mia loved her stocking.

A second Honeymoon

The Kid's (Brandon, Jason, & Mandy) decided we needed to go somewhere special for our 30th Anniversary, not just to dinner and a show.

So they surprised us and got us a suite at the Hotel Park City, in Park City.

It was absolutely the best mini Vacation ever. I loved this Huge Bed!

The view from the Balcony was awesome you could see the mountains and the ski lifts.

But the absolute best part was this Huge jetted tub, that I couldn't wait to get in, and hated to get out of.

Thanks you Three We had a Wonderful Second Honeymoon.

Happy Anniversary

30 years ago today Bruce and I were Married.

What a difference 30 years makes.

I love this guy just as much today as I did the day I said, "I DO"
Can't wait to see what the next 30 years brings our way.

Mouse Alert!

Awhile ago Mr "K" walked into the Family room and came out shouting..."Mouse Alert, Mouse Alert!" I thought he was kidding. So he drew me a picture.

It turns out we did have a mouse. It was camped out under the bookshelf.

So Mr K. decided to put together some "Mouse Catching Tools".

He also showed me how he would .....catch and scoop the mouse in a pan. He was so excited about his plan.

Twenty five dollars later (sticky pads, & traps). We found out that in the end all it took to catch the mouse was Brandon and a napkin holder ( believe me, it was not pretty)

Temple Lights

Every year we head up to temple square to see the lights.

We made sure everyone was bundled up.

We went early this year, and I must say it was really nice. Not to cold, and not very crowded.

Little miss "K" had fun.

The best part for me was......watching Mr "K" watching the Nativity. I think he would have stayed there all night listening to it over and over again.

I absolutely Love going to the Temple and seeing the lights, and sharing it with my family, it so beautiful and peaceful.

Little Miss Baker

Wednesday Nights are "Survivor Pizza" night. We either buy or make Pizza.

If we make Pizza, I have a little Chef who LOVES to help out.

She makes sure she has all her tools.

And sometimes it can get a little messy !

But thats what Grandmas do best.....let their Grandkids make messes.

Haunted Woods

We headed over to the Haunted Woods in Murray Last Night. Tons of fun.

We used to take the boys and Erin when they were little. But it has grown since then. and we had to stand in line for almost an hour.

It's good they had lots of entertainment. Plenty of scary creatures.

Kenzie catching a ride on Moms shoulders.

They gave Kai a ball and told him if any of the "creatures" scared him in the woods....he could throw the ball at them. Lets just say the ball got a lot of use out of it!

It was a ton of fun, just right for little kids, even Kenzie liked it.

I guess Miss Murray went to school with Erin. She told Erin "Hello" but Erin wasn't to sure about the pirate that knew her name. We will have to make sure we go again next year.

4 Wheeling.....at Home

Because of Bruce's surgery and mine we were unable to go 4 wheeling this year. Needless to say Erin wasn't to happy about it.

So we decided to give Erin a ride out in the back field now that it is all cleared out.

Erin was on board for this, she just wanted to go for a ride. She even had us put her helmut on.

Erin is one happy camper. Hopefully we can go next year.

Erin

We are trying to keep Erin busy. They changed MAT (The transition program with Murray District). They no longer allow her to go out to the college. They have chosen to keep her and a few other students in a classroom within the district all day with very few opportunities to access the community. So we have decided it is best if she doesn't attend. She can still attend Institute if I take her and pick her up. She is having a hard time understanding why she cant spend the day at the college.

Millcreek Canyon

We headed up to Millcreek canyon Saturday to see the Fall Colors and to take a few pics while we were there.
Believe it or not this is the best family Picture we got! :) We didn't have to get everyone to smile or look at the camera at the same time.

We have a lot of these pics.

And a lot of these...

We decided individual pictures were the best way to go. I love this one of Kai. He looks so grown up.

And Kenz just wanted to get down and play.
