...You ever had a project that you knew needed to get done, but you really don't want to do it? Or you want to do it a little at time just so you can keep your sanity not to mention your wallet in tact. But then you realize it's like a bandaid and you just need to rip it off as quick as possible, and get it done.
It's taken 30 years but I have come to the conclusion that Bruce is a total Optimist (actually I have always known this)and me?....well I am a total Pessimist. Bruce always has a "Can Do" attitude about things. I have the attitude of "If it's not broke don't mess with it"
So as you have probably guessed we are going with the bandaid method....Doing it quickly and getting it done!

When it's freezing outside.....Just Go.....
Swimming
And thats just what we did. Well Bruce, Brandon, Erin, & Mckai did anyway. Mandy and I got to watch. We went down to Murray Rec. And I have it on good authority that the water was WARM!
Mckai and Brandon headed down the lazy river...
Erin trying to catch up to Brandon and Mckai. And good old Dad trying to keep her afloat.

Erin loves to go swimmming. It is very easy to get her in, But very very hard to get her out!

A little late, but here is Christmas.....
We had a Wonderful Christmas, I hope and all our Family and Friends did as well.
As you can see Santa made it to the Turner House.
We started with breakfast, Grandpa Lynn braved the cold and walked over to celebrate with us.

Then it was on to the Christmas Boots. I made these probably 15 years ago. Joann (Bruce's Mom) let me take Bruce's old one apart for a pattern so I could make our kids some.
When Santa comes he fills our Christmas Boots instead of Stockings. Its amazing how much stuff you can put in those boots!
Thanks to Jason for passing out presents. And helping Erin with the ribbon.
Mckai loved opening presents, it took awhile cuz he wanted to open each box and try it out before moving on to the next present. He was always so nice to thank everyone too.
