Cleaning the Pond (water feature)

 First we take out the Little fishes,  and put them in a bucket with a bubbler.

 Then we power wash the rocks and sides of the pond.

 The filtering system is, is .....well its way disgusting!  It gets this way in the winter because it's to cold to clean it and it would stress out the fish.  (yes fish get stressed,  so I was told by the lady at the fish store!)

 Finally a clean pond.  well semi-clean anyway.

 Then you fill the pond back up.  Looks and smells so much better.

And put the fishes Back in.   A nice clean pond for a couple months anyway.  It used to take a half day to do the cleaning,  but now we have it down to a couple hours.
