Crystal Hot Springs
Love going to Crystal Hot Springs in northern Utah.
This time we got the grandkids to tag along with us.
Jason even came up to spend the day and help "wrangle" kids.
I like that they have a campground right next to the pools, it's a short walk and you are right there!
And of course you need a couple of selfies! I like that this spot is not to far away, but you can still feel like you are camping. I think we will make this spot a yearly tradition too š
Dancing with Brother!
Erin has the Best Brothers.....She talked Brandon into dancing with her.
She loves it when her brothers hang out with her.
Yosemite
Is Awesome!
Didn't much care for the long, long line to get into the park.
They were also having "Controlled Burns" throughout the park, which made most of the pictures with a haze on them.
But some areas were absolutely beautiful. Even the ride through the park was beautiful.
And some areas still had snow .
Was a little out of the way, but so worth it on the way home glad we were able to see Yosemite because I have never been before.
What an Awesome National Park.
The Fun Stuff
You see when you come out the Door in the morning , while you are camping.
I'm pretty sure he scared me way more than I scared him. At least it wasn't a Scorpion or Tarantula, or we would have packed up and LEFT!!
IPSA Lineman Rodeo
I love the Lineman Rodeo, so much Fun to watch!
Murray Power had a Team entered, this is their cart with all the equipment on it.
It was held at the Lehi Rodeo Grounds in Lehi.
Two of Murray Cities Lineman took second place in the Obstacle Course, which is Awesome! It was nice to have front row seats, and get a free lunch thrown in. Next year will be in Logan.
ATV Ride up Six Mile
Erin is always so good to wear her Helmut and Goggles.
Love to take pictures whenever we go for a ride, the scenery is alway so beautiful.
They got a little bit a head of me, when I stopped to take pictures.
Made it all the way to Ferron Lake.
Where we stopped for some Lunch. And a much needed "fanny" break.
Found these cute "dust keeper outers" from the SA company, which do an awesome job keeping the dirt out of my mouth and nose! Just love to go camping and 4 wheeling!
A River Run with the Truckee River Raft Co.
An Awesome River Run (Float) on the Truckee River! We did this while we were over in Squaw Valley for the UAMPS conference.
Was so much fun, for all of us to float down the Truckee River. We only had a couple of spots where it was a bit of a White Knuckle experience. They said "class 1 rapids", it felt more like class 3 !!!
The Scenery was so pretty. And it was a lot of Fun! It took us about 3 hours to get to the take out point.
Erin was too cute at helping with paddling, She kept telling us "I do It" I kept thinking she would lose the paddle, but she never did. In fact I'm the one that lost it. And one of us (Not Me) swam after it.
Most of the river you could stand in and it was only waist deep but we still put a life jacket on Erin. We also got High Centered a couple of times, causing one of us (Not Me) to get out and give us a push.
The Best part is the Staff was so nice in helping us with Erin by getting Erin In the Raft in the Beginning and out at the End. I would totally recommend this rafting company to anyone traveling to Squaw Valley and wanting to take a River Run (Float)
