Graduation Pictures

I decided to take Erin's graduations pictures myself. Plus my new camera needs to start paying for itself!

I love taking Erin's picture. She is so willing to pose. Getting her to smile and look at the camera at the same time was a challenge. You also need to take the pictures quickly, because she is easily distracted. She also has to always be holding something. Usually it is her bag, (with all her "stuff" in it) or a can of pepsi. And we really didn't want to give Pepsi any Free advertising. So I talked her into holding a flower for her pictures. She did a great job. i am so proud of her. And Bruce was a great assistant, I couldn't have done it without him. Thanks Hon.

Now that the pictures are done we will be sending out Erin's Graduation Announcements in the next week or two.....I can't belive she is graduating

Antelope Island

We took a drive to Antelope Island the other day. It's another one of those Utah Places I have not been to. Bruce and the boys have been a couple of times with Young Mens & with scouts. But Me I have never been. I highly reccomend it, it was a great place. We went before the brine flies could "bug" us.

Of course there are the Antelopes. Believe me they are there, they just blend in really well.

And you have to stop at the Visitors Center, it has all the info about the Island. And you need to stop and take pictures by all the "fake" Bison.

I think everyone comes to Antelope Island to see all the wildlife and that includes the Buffalo.

The Scenery was awesome, and again I took way to many pictures. Thats what happens when you have a new digital camera.
Its hard to believe we still have tons of snow in the mountains.

It's always Fun when Mckai comes.....

We love having Mckai come and hang out at our house. He is so much fun and so full of energy.

He loves to enlist any and everyone in what he is doing. And his favorite person is Grandpa.

Mckai found 2 baskets, one little and one big one. He got Grandpa to get in the big basket, him in the little one and found a blanket to put over them to hide from grandma.

When I looked all over for them...(Its hard not to miss a huge blanket in the middle of the frontroom floor)....I finally found them and took the blanket off. He laughed and laughed, he thought it was soooo funny that Grandma couldn't find them.

I think Grandpa would do just about anything for this cute little boy.....even climbing in a basket and hiding under a blanket.

Of course it helps to get Hugs and Kisses!

It's hard to believe that these BIG FEET......

Belong to this Sweet Little Boy!

Mckai loves to jump, and from just about anywhere....stairs, boxes, beds, trampolines...

Yep ......this Boy has Tons of energy, and he knows how to use it!

More Moab Pictures....

Here are some more pictures we took from Moab.

We watched some Jeeps come down a huge rock up "Slick Rock" canyon just East of Moab. It was Fun to watch, they all got out, and looked at it before they started down, and then they all came down one behind the other.

There are also some pictures from inside Arches National Park, which was awesome.

South Eastern Utah...

We took a small mini vacation to Moab.
I remember going to Moab when I was younger, but Bruce and i had never been to Moab together. So for Erin's Spring Break we decided to head south...(where we were hoping it might be a little warmer)

This is how it looked when we left, not exactly fun going threw Spanish Fork Canyon in a white out!

And this is how it looked when we arrived...not to much warmer, but there was NO SNOW...so it was awesome!

We stayed at the Red Cliff Lodge....I highly recommend it. It is a litttle ways away from Moab but we stayed right on the Colorado River.

This was the view on the back patio, it was so beautiful.

And of course there were horses on the property....we asked the owner if Erin could feed the horses some carrots. He said absolutely and he would even help us with Erin if she wanted to go for a ride around the arena on one of the horses. We tried to talk Erin into riding, but she was happy to just sit and watch, and feed them carrots.

Believe it or not we hiked up a hillside to get this picture, even Erin hiked. She was a real trooper, I am so proud of her. She only complained a little in the beginning.

Here is part of the trail, everytime you rounded a corner, there was more stairs, or more trail....if I would have read the trail guide before we left it would have told us (me) that it was a mile, and the terrain was rocky. A lesson learned

Here she is coming down with help from Dad.

This is the Colorado River coming down Hwy 128. It was a Great trip and we will do it again, but we might wait until end of April, when it is a little warmer. I took over 200 pictures, so i will post some every now and then.

P.S. We took a trip down south, need to edit pictures then I will post some.
